Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

This policy governs returns, refunds, and cancellations for bulk agricultural commodities supplied by KRISH AGRO. As a B2B wholesale supplier, our policies are designed for industrial and institutional buyers purchasing in large quantities.

Return Window

  • Time Period: Returns accepted within 7 days from delivery date
  • Eligible Reasons: Quality issues, contamination, wrong specifications, damaged packaging
  • Not Eligible: Change of mind, market price fluctuations, buyer's storage failures
  • Returns must be initiated by contacting 9830006033 or order@krishagro.in

Conditions for Returns

Quality-Based Returns

  • Product does not meet agreed specifications (moisture, purity, grade)
  • Contamination or foreign matter beyond acceptable limits
  • Visible fungus, pest infestation, or spoilage
  • Incorrect product delivered (different from order)

Packaging-Related Returns

  • Bags torn or damaged during transit
  • Incorrect bag weight or count
  • Water damage due to improper packaging

Return Process

  1. Immediate Inspection: Buyer must inspect goods upon delivery and note any issues on delivery receipt
  2. Photographic Evidence: Take clear photos/videos of quality issues or damaged packaging
  3. Contact Us: Notify KRISH AGRO within 24 hours of delivery with evidence
  4. Sample Collection: We may arrange to collect samples for independent testing
  5. Third-Party Testing: Disputed quality issues resolved through recognized lab testing (APMC/FSSAI approved labs)
  6. Resolution: Based on test results, we will arrange replacement or refund

Sampling Before Bulk Orders

  • Buyers can request samples before placing bulk orders
  • Sample quantity: 1-2 kg (courier charges may apply)
  • Helps verify quality standards before large commitments
  • Recommended for first-time buyers and export orders

Quality Parameters & Testing

Returns based on quality disputes will be evaluated against agreed specifications:

  • Rice/Paddy: Moisture %, broken %, purity %, grain length
  • Pulses: Moisture %, admixture %, splits %, husk content
  • Oilseeds: Oil content %, moisture %, foreign matter %, FFA
  • Spices: Purity %, moisture %, color value, volatile oil content
  • Testing conducted at NABL-accredited or government-approved laboratories
  • Testing costs shared or borne by party at fault

Return Logistics

  • Small Quantities: Buyer ships back faulty goods; we reimburse freight if claim verified
  • Large Quantities: We arrange pickup from buyer's location
  • Coordination: Return logistics coordinated based on shipment size and location
  • Returned goods must be in original packaging (where quality permits)

Refund Process

  • Timeline: Refunds processed within 10-15 business days after quality verification
  • Method: Bank transfer/NEFT to buyer's account
  • Deductions: Transport, testing, or handling charges deducted if applicable
  • Partial Refunds: For partial quality issues, proportional refunds issued
  • Replacement Option: Buyers can opt for replacement instead of refund

Cancellation Policy

Before Dispatch

  • Cancellation allowed before goods are dispatched
  • Notify us immediately at 9830006033 or order@krishagro.in
  • Full refund if cancelled before loading/dispatch
  • If loading has started, cancellation charges may apply

After Dispatch

  • Cancellation not permitted once goods are in transit
  • Buyer can refuse delivery only for valid quality/packaging issues
  • Partial cancellation: For unfulfilled portions of multi-delivery orders

Exceptions & Special Cases

  • Perishable Products: Rice bran, fresh produce - no returns accepted beyond 48 hours
  • Custom Orders: Special grade/specification orders - limited return eligibility
  • Export Shipments: Once shipped from port, returns governed by international trade terms
  • Force Majeure: Quality deterioration due to buyer's storage negligence not eligible for return

Dispute Resolution

  • Good faith negotiations between KRISH AGRO and buyer
  • Third-party laboratory testing for quality disputes
  • Arbitration as per Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
  • Jurisdiction: North 24-Parganas, West Bengal courts
