KRISH AGRO supplies bulk agricultural commodities to industrial buyers, food processors, export trading companies, and institutional customers across India and internationally. This policy outlines our shipping and delivery procedures for bulk orders.

Order Processing Time

  • Order confirmation and verification: 24-48 hours
  • Loading and preparation for dispatch: 48-72 hours from order confirmation
  • For large container loads: 3-5 days for complete loading
  • Export orders: Additional time for documentation and customs clearance

Delivery Timeframes

Domestic Delivery (India)

  • West Bengal: 3-5 business days from dispatch
  • Eastern India (Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha): 4-6 business days
  • Northern India (UP, Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana): 5-8 business days
  • Southern India (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh): 7-10 business days
  • Western India (Maharashtra, Gujarat): 6-9 business days
  • Pan-India Average: 5-10 business days

Export Delivery

  • Based on shipping terms agreed (FOB, CIF, etc.)
  • Typical port-to-port transit: 15-45 days depending on destination
  • Export documentation provided: Phytosanitary certificate, invoice, packing list, bill of lading
  • Container shipments from Kolkata Port / Mumbai Port

Shipping Methods

  • Bulk Truck Loads: For domestic orders (20-50 MT)
  • Rail Transport: For large domestic bulk orders (100+ MT)
  • Container Shipments: For export orders (20-25 MT per container)
  • Insured Cargo: All shipments covered by transport insurance

Delivery Terms

  • Ex-Warehouse (EXW): Buyer arranges pickup from our North 24-Parganas facility
  • FOR (Free on Rail): We deliver to nearest railway station; buyer pays from there
  • Door Delivery: We arrange complete delivery to buyer's premises (charges apply)
  • FOB (Export): We deliver to port; buyer arranges sea freight
  • CIF (Export): We arrange port delivery and sea freight; buyer receives at destination port

Tracking & Communication

  • Dispatch notification via SMS and email
  • Tracking details provided for truck/rail shipments
  • Bill of lading shared for export shipments
  • Estimated delivery date communicated at time of dispatch

Delivery Responsibilities

  • Unloading: Buyer's responsibility unless otherwise specified
  • Labour charges: For unloading at buyer's premises (if applicable)
  • Inspection on delivery: Buyer should inspect goods upon arrival
  • Packaging integrity: Any transit damage should be reported immediately to transporter

Special Circumstances

  • Force Majeure: Delays due to weather, crop failure, transport strikes, natural disasters beyond our control
  • Peak Season: During harvest/procurement season, delivery may take additional 2-3 days
  • Remote Locations: Delivery to remote areas may require additional time and charges
  • Regulatory Delays: Export orders subject to customs and port clearance timelines

Delivery Charges

  • Included in quoted price for door delivery orders
  • Separate quotation for ex-warehouse or FOR terms
  • Distance-based charges for locations beyond 500 km from North 24-Parganas
  • Export: Based on FOB/CIF terms negotiated

Packaging Standards

  • 50kg jute/PP bags for most products (as per specification)
  • Palletized loading for container shipments
  • Proper labeling with product name, weight, batch number
  • Moisture-proof packaging for moisture-sensitive commodities
  • Export-quality fumigated wooden pallets for international shipments
